We value your input and welcome your participation! Membership is not required to attend our meetings, but dues may be paid at any official FPCA meeting, activity or event.
We structure our agendas informally to combine our Executive Board and General Membership segments, because Our Officers & Trustees do not meet privately. Between meetings, the Executive Board acts upon urgent business electronically, and a summary and record of motion/vote is included on our monthly agenda, and is recorded in our minutes.
Thanks to the continuing support of the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, we meet in the lower level classrooms at 6:30pm on the 4th Tuesday monthly (except December).
We strive for our agenda and an advance (unofficial/unapproved) copy of our minutes from the meeting of the last month to be available in our Digital Library prior to our meeting. We are a membership organization that relies on the work of volunteers, so we regret we can't always meet this goal.
Our approach is neighborly, and we loosely follow “Democratic Rules of Order” by Cool Heads Publishing. Our Business from the Floor segment is when our voting members may make and vote upon motions. Others attending may participate in discussion prior to our vote.

Team meetings are scheduled as needed and are often held in the Caretaker's Cottage on the grounds of Franklin Park (1820 Franklin Park South).
