Section VI: Membership and Dues
A. Voting membership to this Association is limited to those who are eighteen years of age or older who are residents of the geographic area designated as the Franklin Park Community, and to those who are non-resident property owners or named representatives of a business or other organization located within the geographic area designated as the Franklin Park Community, as defined within these Bylaws.
B. No individual, business or organization, or non-resident property owner may hold more than one voting membership in the Association.
C. Membership to this Association as a Friend is appropriate for individuals, businesses, and organizations who desire non-voting privileges and have demonstrated an interest in furthering the mission of this Association, without regard for geographic location.
D. A membership in this Association shall run from January 1 through December 31. Membership dues paid during December shall apply to the following membership year.
E. Prorating of memberships is not permitted.
F. Membership dues shall be deposited into the general fund of the Association and recorded as follows:

Resident ADA/Elder/Veteran (individual) $6.00
Fellow of the Association (individual) Waived

G. A resident, or ADA/Elder/Veteran resident, (homeowner or renter) shall be defined as one named member, entitled to one vote pursuant to that membership.
H. A business or organization is limited to one membership and entitled to one vote pursuant to that membership, regardless of how many properties or businesses are owned.
1. One individual shall be identified by a business or organization as a representative for that membership.
I. A non-resident owner of a property that is located within the geographic area designated as Franklin Park, as defined within these Bylaws, is limited to one individual membership and entitled to one vote pursuant to that membership, regardless of how many properties are owned.
J. The Executive Board may grant Fellow Membership to a resident, or resident ADA/Elder/Veteran, in return for service to the Association.
1. Fellow Membership shall be defined as one named resident and shall be entitled to one vote pursuant to that membership.
2. Fellow Membership shall be granted for one year at a time.
K. Voting members must have paid their dues prior to March 31 in order to make a nomination, appear on the ballot, or cast a vote in the April election of Officers and Trustees. to coincide with the fiscal year of the Association.
L. Patrons of the Association are non-voting memberships, and recognize those individuals, businesses and organizations (regardless of geographic location) that have made significant contributions, either by donating funds or services, to the Association.
